My journey with STI started in the spring of 2005. Looking back, I never thought it would be such an invigorating journey that would last more than a decade. But, it’s only been 17 years, there are many more to go.

My first assignment as a coordinator was with a global client. The first few months was not easy. Since it’s a high priority client & they are process driven, it took some time to pick it up, but I wanted to prove myself and do my best. The more I was challenged, the stronger I grew. I have to give credit to my Team Leader who supported me tremendously.

Gradually, I learnt my first configuration of a desktop. Well along, I started configuring workstations, notebooks and later came the configuration of servers which was more complex. Soon, I was not a coordinator for one VP alone, I started coordinating for all the other marketing teams, I grew confident in configuring servers that even account managers from other MNC’s used to send the requirement to me, this made me stronger, more importantly earning my place here at STI.

In 2009, I was chosen as the best employee of the year. As a token of appreciation, the company sponsored a trip for me & my family to Dubai. It was one of the most prestigious moments of my life.

Fast forward to a few years later, I was recognised by the director of the company and started working under his guidance. It was a great learning for me. The guidance and knowledge from him not only improved my knowledge but it also changed my working style and my exposure to the business world grew ten-fold.

Soon, there was a reorganization and a new team was formed under the leadership of our Director, ‘Operations’. I was transferred from Marketing to Operations. A life-changing transformation in my career. I was given the designation as a ‘Credit Controller’. I had to learn all about credit control & its process which was entirely a different ball game.

One thing I can say with utmost certainty, is that my journey at STI was not monotonous. Very often, I was given a new opportunity which was a new learning and challenging in its own way. I am eternally thankful to God almighty, my family, our directors and all my colleagues who are very supportive. A special thanks goes out to Vikas, my colleague & friend who referred me to STI and is the reason I am a part of the STI Family today.
